As human beings, we all easily get stuck in the negative.

We all have our moments when we fall in a hole, find it difficult to get up or are thrown a challenge we find too difficult to cope with alone.  At times this depends on how resilient we are, at other times it depends how well we are physically when a challenge comes our way or how long a challenge sustains itself to a point of our exhaustion and at other times it just happens that too many challenges or stress comes towards us at the same time.

The therapeutic experience is not only for those with ‘mental health challenges’ or those with problems to share but it can also be for providing a professional perspective on one’s personal situation or for those who wish to feel less alone in their challenges, decisions or dilemmas.  Others come to therapy to support them in turning a traumatic or difficult experience into a growth experience so that they can turn their pain and stress into insight and wisdom to support them with their future lives.   Other individuals turn to therapy to grow in their own personal insight to improve their self-awareness and strengthen their weaknesses or be more aware of their strengths.    “wholeness for humans depends on our ability to own our own shadow.”  Carl Jung.  For this purpose a therapeutic styled coaching approach can be very useful.
